I had a brilliant idea today.  With the Postal System shut down, I realized that I might not get the Amex card I won in time.  You know...the one that makes Pennsic doable. 

So, I called them and asked if it could be courriered to me and explained the reason why.  I even offered to pay for it.
After about 15 minutes, the lady called me back and said it would be no problem and they would send it out tonight and I'll get it tomorrow..Thursday.

AAACCCKKK!!!!  I'm out most of Thursday and plans cannot be changed.  A few more back and forthings and.... I will get the call with the tracking number for the Friday delivery. :-)  I am very very pleased.

Plus...S. came over this evening and she removed a lot of crap off of the laptop and downloaded a bunch of games and stuff.  Then, she pinned one tunic and a skirt.  So now I have to start sewing.  Faithful readers, do you know how friggin' hard it is to sew lying flat on ones back???  i know Albreda does. :-(  But, I am excited because I will finally becoming a REAL Scadian.  I'm gonna be sewing on the ride to GNE and possibly to Pennsic as well. *grin*
