busy busy day today.  Cynthia picked me up at 1pm and we went to Akhavan where I did what must have been the fastest shopping run e.v.a.h.
Then off to Loblaws and home.

I scanned in the purchases (Nielsen) and then laid down for a bit.  After that I put stuff where it belonged, did the dishes and ate lunch.  Then.... ah...then it began.

The Tabouleh, except for the slicking and chopping of veggies is done.  Veggies happen tomorrow.
The Mujadara is made, ziplocked and in the fridge...with the tabouleh, though in different ziplocks.
The hummus is done and will get ziplocked when I have another pair of hands to help...tomorrow.
The Baklavah is bought and in the fridge.
Roasted red peppers and pickles and pickled turnips are acquired.  Also wonderful pitted olives in garlic, oli and black and white sesame seeds.  Can't wait to taste those. *grin*.

Tomorrow besides the veggies, is the ground beef with spices, onions and pine nuts on pita.
Tomorrow is also the day of the ersatz musakahn.  It's a Jordanian dish normally broiled and finished on pita.  No oven available on site for me, so, I'm using chicken breasts and...adjusting as I go. *grin*

Busy Freya is bushed and self satisfied. *grin*
