The damned lazy mail *delivery* person decided he/she couldn;t be arsed (I really love that word) to take the elevator to the second floor, open the door and walk five steps to his left.
i went to get my mail and there was the lovely delivery notice that told me I was out. Well, I suppose I was. I was out cold, asleep. But, there's this lovely buzzer beside the door. I hear that. He/she didn't bother.
So, once again, I called customer service. I didn't even bother speaking to the depot because they have no authority to redeliver a package.
sigh. Why is it that so many people have no problem doing the minimum for maximum pay? What has happened to the work ethic? To honesty? To thinking about how your inaction affects others? I have found, in my dealings with many govt. or large corporation employees that they really don't care. They'll get paid whether or not they do their job. They have their unions. What about the rest of us?
Am I being an idealist? Foolish? Perhaps unfair? Really?
