started early with a call from someone. Can't remember now. But I was pleased. *grin* Got up, showered, made brekkie and did the dishes.
K and her friend came over this afternoon with PANSIES!!!! My most favourite of flowers. I actually squeed. *grin* Two, count them, TWO little pots of pansies. they are now in their own little bowls on the LR window sill. :-) And her friend whose name I insist on forgetting (apologies) brought me some lovely pink mums. Glorious smell. They're sitting in a vase in the kitchen in front of the window. I can't remember the last time i got flowers of any sort, let alone on mother's day. :-)
Anyhoo... continuing on in my ME trend towards food these last days, I made Mujaddarh. It's a Lebanese lentil and rice dish with fried onions. Also decided that hummus would go just perfectly. So I made some. :-) Then a made a couple of Toulouse sausages to add some protein. Absolutely delish. But I will change the recipe a bit the next time. Just cause I can, you see. :-) anyhow, I have enough for two or three more meals.
Northbard is hoping to come in next Sunday through Tuesday. We're going to Ikea to get me a set of curtains for the LR. The slatted blinds are coming out from the wall and I can't touch them. i've had enough of it. Since I signed my lease for the next year, It's time to fix them. Northbard will put them up as well. Happily, I still have the drill here. :-)
I'm thinking of trying to lower the Cesamet again. If it's no longer got the sciatic pain to deal with, it should be helping out with the fibro and bursitis and tendonitis, osteo, etc. It doesn't seem to be doing that, so I don't see why I should bother to continue on with it. I shall speak with my Neuro on Tuesday and see what his take on it is. The less meds I take, the happier I will be. Who knows, I might actually get back some of my brain. :-)
I've decided to try walking again tomorrow (today). I spent the day wearing 1 lb ankle weights. It didn't appear to bother me so I'll see how I am when I awake. If there's no pain I'll walk...without them. :-)
