Good week and getting better. :-)
Monday got to the eye Dr. She was about 1 1/2 hours behind so I was sitting and standing for about 4 1/2 hours. I still hurt from that but... the good news is that there is no sign of Macular Degeneration which has blinded my father. It's hereditary and going by everything else in my inherited physical problems, I need to keep an eye (sorry) on it. :-)
The bad... my blurring vision is not from the meds, but from cataracts beginning in both. Nothing to worry about right now. I'm getting used to the fuzz. *grin*
Today I joined Kat and her friend Chrystie for an early dinner of sushi and Chinese food. Overate massively. *grin*
Saturday I get taken to see and hear Taiko performed by the school here in Mtl. One of our ladies is taking their classes and has invited me to a fundraiser they're doing for Japan. I'll be able to take the cot. *grin*
I'm starting to feel the effects of the Lyrica. Sleeping has become normal for me...I lie down and within 15 minutes I am gone. The bad is that I am often light headed and rubber legged. If I move my head to quickly, I get dizzy. The worst side effect.... it's not helping the pain. If anything, it's getting worse.
I said I'd give it a month and I shall do that. It's got two more weeks to give me a good reason to keep on it. If it doesn't, I'll speak to the Dr. and see if we can lower the dosage, keep the sleeping, stop the light headed crap.
All in all, it's being an excellent week. :-)
