A few days ago I received an email from Hydro telling me my bill was now available.  I paid my bill on the 11th of March.  Colour me confused.
So, Tuesday, I called Hydro.  the first guy tried to tell me that, no, it was correct.  For a variety of reasons.  None of which make sense of a month with double billing.

He passed me through to anoth gentleman.  He tried to make the reasoning make sense.  See..contract ends on March 11 and new one starts on March 28.  He can't see past those contracts (which, by the way he can't provide me with) to the lack of common sense.  I mean, no matter when a contract starts and stops, it doesn't include a year with 13months.

He had to check some stuff, so he said he'd call me back.  I gave him to today.  I called and finally got through to his line and left a message.
He called me back about 2:45 and started with the whole thing all over again.  I said, it doesn't matter how you want to work it out.. if, in a 12 month period, I make 13 payments, it means I've been charged twice one month.  1+1=2.  If you add another 1, it's 3, not 2.

I guess I got him so ticked off he decided to just cancel the charge.  Of course, we both knew that he had to do it because he knew it was a ripoff.   Of course, now I have to keep checking to see if he does it. :-(

I hate big business.

EDIT:   It's done.  My balance is once again 0$ *grin*
