So..anyone have a suggestion as to how I can cut some of the heat from the stew I made today?

I browned the meat in masa and browned it before going into the slow cooker.  Threw in onions, potatoes, garlic, dried shitakes and one container of beef broth.  Then I added a package of taco seasoning.  I love that stuff and it doesn't have a whole bunch of crap in it.  But...... it's way too spicy for me.

I could add more beans I suppose.  I don't want to add more liquid because then I need to thicken it more and it's gonna end up as tasty cement.  Mind you, I do have some refried beans which might be interesting.

Right now the whole pot is sitting in my winter fridge waiting for the snow to start. :-)  Fastest way to get rid of the fat. :-)

they're saying 10-15 cm. starting this am.  Meh.  It will probably avoid us.
