This has been a very busy week, starting with Svana coming down from Trois Rivieres on Wed. we were busy little beavers and got a lot done, including Ikea.
She left yesterday and I stayed up rather later than usual last night. :-( Naturally, while I had planned to hit the snooze button at 11am after the meds, my friend V. called and asked if I'd like to do brunch. *grin*
So... shower and tea and dressed and out the door at about 12:30. After a mediocre brunch (we shall not be returning) we hit Cdn. Tire because I need to re cover the two shelving thingies in my kitchen. I also wanted to get one of those cupholder things that you can attach to a stroller or something to put a bottle of water in. I need one for both TC and SW. I'm having a problem figuring out what to do with the damned water bottle all the time. :-( I found the mactac but not the cup holder. :-( However, I did find a 2GB Koby MP3 player and USB stick for about 8$.
I bought it and now I just need someone to show me how to transfer music to it. :-) It's nothing fancy, but, if it works, I'm a happy camper. It also came with ear buds. Hopefully these will work. I can't use the ones i was given last month. They just don't stay in my ears. :-(
Monday, I'm hoping Adi will be able to come over so we can do laundry and make the bed. I need to put a mattress cover on it to stop me from overheating. The lady at the store told me it needs to be cotton. Doh. Like I didn't know that one. *grin* So, I have one, but it didn't say if it was cotton. *grin* Yes I did. It's cotton. :-)
Verna also brought me a bag stuffed with over 20 crossword puzzles. :-) YAY!!!
I feel like I've accomplished a good bit. I know it's pretty miniscule in comparison to the major cleaning and decluttering that others have been doing. But it's enough for me. Plans for the week include emptying the shelves and re*mac*ing them. Get someone to put those four bars up so I can hang my pots and pans and with the shelves split, I should be able to get my table back. After that is the spices.
good stuff. :-)
