Okay. The Tofurky is in the oven in a small covered roasting pan with onions and garlic and parsnips. I made a baste first with oil and my herbs and sage, garlic and paprika. Poked some holes and rubbed it on. Then, I made a liquidy baste with Streits pareve chicken soup base, water, olive oil, my herbs, sage, some Old Bay, ground 5 pepper mix, granulated garlic and onions.
Poured about 1/2 of that over the tofurkey and veggies and into the oven. :-)
I will let you know the results.
EDIT: It wasn't half bad, if I do say so myself. :-) And I have leftovers. YAY!!!
