So..yeah.. I saw the neurologist yesterday. Still no complete catscan results..except that he says I have a herniated disc on the right. But..it's not complete report. FEH!!!
So. he's upped the Cesamet from .5mg once a day, to 1mg twice a day. I'll give it a few days to see if it has any effect on the pain.
In the meantime, he has sent a referral to a neurosurgeon at the Montreal General. \goddess only knows how long this is gonna take. He wasn't too thrilled when I told him the drugs weren't working and perhaps surgery is the way. So..he wrote it out and it will, hopefully, result in an appointment in the near, rather than far, future. I'll let ya'll know. :-)
In happier news..I got my hair cut today. Luverly. On the way back home, Hawise and I went to the bank. And to the Chinese store where I got mini sticky rice in lotus leaves.
Vegetarian..just got to steam them. It's dimsum size.
Then we stopped at the bagel store which is run by a couple of Indian guys, one of whom was a chef at one of the better Indian Buffets here in town. So, they now sell hot, freshly made, dishes. I picked up some onion and cabbage curry. It's a good amount for what you pay and I've got two meals out of it. :-) He had butter chicken too...sigh.
Oh..and I got a hold of the Provincial guys and found out my refund should be deposited in my account on Monday. It will cover utilities for the next few months and make things waaay easier until my EI gets accepted.
