today was fun. Painful, but fun. Northbard cooked us a marvellous scrambled tofu and zuchini and mushroom and onion breakfast with my many-grained toast. Then the three of us cleared out my fridge. Well, okay, he and Tormenta did the work. I just sat on a chair and became more and more embarrassed by what was found at the back. It was really hilarious. Northbard had a wonderful time mocking me. what could I do? I deserved it..truly. *grin*
Then we went shopping. Actually, we were supposed to be looking, but when we got to the second healthfood store, on Monkland, we ended up buying many fine things which, to my great surprise and pleasure, they gifted me with. :-)
We then went to a third one on Sherbrooke and .... I forget the cross street, but it was also very good and we got some saucages and stuff. Then we dropped my dvd's off at Blockbuster and came home.
BBQ...viennese saucages in a wrap with mustard and sauerkraut and cooked onions and mushrooms (in garlic olive oil I bought at St. Jacob's market in Kitchener) and I had two skewers of veggie chicken. I didn't realize it had milk protein so the kids couldn't eat it. And grilled zuchini on the side. And salad. I am most appropriately stuffed and happy.
It was a wonderful day. My kids are awesome.
Now they are off to hopefully meet friends and walk about town. :-)
