I'm bummed and happy. Bubbette isn't coming up this weekend, which is probably just as well since my sciatic is bad again. Spent 5 minutes crying in BoB until the pain went away after walking from work to the parking lot...like...less than 2 minutes. So, even if he came up here, I wouldn't be able to go anywhere and do touristy stuff so... Feh.

On the other hand, I am ecstatic because my son, his partner and another friend of theirs just closed on a home. right across the street from where they live now. I'm so proud of him and he was hilarious on the phone when he called me. Absolutely giddy and totally freaked out about the money. He is going to forget about the cost now. They can handle it without being poor. But he is freaked all the same. So...money whall not be discussed...with him.

Of course, this means that I have a room for when I no longer feel up to living on my own...about 30 years from now, I'd guess. :-) After all, my father is 92 and still living on his own...thanks to my brother. Without him, the old shit would be screwed.

No...I won't discuss Passover. However, I will talk about St. Jacobs Market and THE PLAY!!! I had the most fabulous time. Saturday I picked up Tormenta and we drove to St. Jacob's Market near Kitchener. Mennonites and others. Had a sausage..I've been dreaming about one of those for at least a year. And a hot, freshly made, sugar donut thingy. Oh. My. Friggin'. Gods. Don't ever let me near one of those again. PLEASE!!
And I bought a bottle of Grapeseed oil..Garlic. YUUUUMMMMM!!!!! Tormenta has my maple sugar bunnies. *pout* She better not enjoy them.

Then, on to Waterloo (I may have the two towns mixed up)to pick up Northbard and a girlfriend of theirs and we went to supper at a fabulously delicious vegan place. Yum.

then, the piece de resistance.... KWLT presents Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are DEAD.
I haven't laughed that much in ages. My Protege definitely knows her stuff. It was AWESOME!!!!!

All in all it made the trip worthwhile.
