I'm sitting at my desk at work. Alone in the office. I've finished everything except a set of books that I'm avoiding like the plague. I'm bored and pissed off.

I was supposed to have day surgery on Friday. Everything was prepared..BOB goes in for HIS body work Thursday eve. I wouldn't need him since I wouldn't be able to drive for 2 weeks anyhow. I've got the weekend to recuperate so that I can go to work on Monday. I've more or less set up for transport to and from work. I've pretty much psyched myself up for this thing and then......
yesterday ..... I had a message on my phone at home that the surgery has been cancelled because the hospital where I was supposed to have it done doesn't have an anaesthesiologist. They had two...one retired and the other took off for the States where they actually get paid. Now I'm in deep doodoo. Thank the gods it isn't life-threatening.

I'll find out next week if I can have it done at the Jewish the first week of February. Other than that, it's gonna have to wait until next December. Not being able to lift anything, I can't do it before Birka. It is too physically demanding to do post-op.

I'm sooooo pissed!!!!! AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!
